Let it be Hope: il nuovo mystery di Serena Boffa Soda

Auguriamo a tutte buon divertimento!

English version

It is a real pleasure to announce a new project is taking off, in partnership with Serena Boffa Soda.

Serena is a talented crafter and designer from Piedmont, northern Italy. She is the first Italian author whose book had been published by the highly regarded American publishing company Martingale, a publisher focused on patchwork, creative sewing and embroidery.

We had the pleasure to meet her personally and to see her works. They are unbelievably beautiful and made with incredible precision and care. Serena has a unique style. In each of her projects, she can combine different techniques, such as patchwork and embroidery, with elegance and taste, she always selects fabrics in an elegant, delicate, yet never ordinary manner.

She is also a very generous teacher, she munificently distributes suggestions and advices on materials and techniques – how to sew, what to choose – thus allowing less skilled crafters to greatly perform, too, and completing projects successfully.

So, what is this new project, about which we received so many questions recently?

It’s called “Let it be Hope” and is going to be a mystery project that will lead us with happiness for seven weeks, in seven steps. The project is designed by Serena herself and will include video tutorials to help attendees successfully complete each step.

Progresses will be shared on Serena’s Facebook group called “Enjoy the little things”, in which each attendee will be able to get in touch with others, who are taking part from Italy and abroad, asking for advices, sharing opinions and support each other in the journey stage after stage.

Patchworkvictim is the partner who selected fabrics for the project. Since we love to play with fabrics and  colours, we created not just one, but six different kits, among which you can choose your favourite one to realise your “Let it be Hope” project.

And now some practical information!

In order to take part to this project you only have to purchase your favourite kit. You can find it on Patchworkvictim’s website dedicated page. Once done, you’ll receive selected fabrics, then you’ll receive  related tutorials and instructions in your e-mail box once a week, beginning the 6th of May (obviously these will be special e-mails only sent to those who took part to the project).
Only Italian based customers are allowed to purchase special complete kits.

Fellow crafters based overseas are welcome as well! They can purchase the bare pattern by clicking here. Once purchased, they will receive instructions on materials needed to complete the project, and will then receive instructions and tutorials via e-mail beginning the 6th of May.

This option is exclusively dedicated to those who are not based in Italy.

Eventually, we would like to thank Serena for having chosen Patchworkvictim as a partner for this brand new exciting mystery project of her. We are looking forward to see how it develops and your progresses through its steps.

We wish you all to enjoy the project and a lot of fun.
